Tentative action – plan for the Term – 2008

December 2008 : Picnic /outing, Members,

 

SOCIAL GET-TOGETHER

(DSOI, Dhaula Kuan – 10 February, 2008; 11 AM onwards)

Dear Member,

As mentioned in our maiden communication dated 05 December 2007 (copy attached/enclosed), we are planning the ice-breaking Social get-together of our esteemed members as per following programme :
(a) Date                       : 10 February, 2008 (Sunday)
(b) Timing                   : 11.00 A M to 01.30 PM
(c) Venue                    : Defence Service Officers’ Institute, Dhaula Kuan
                                    : (Tele: 25694081 to 5)
(d) Meals                     : Cockails and Lunch
(e) Charges                 : Rs 350.00 per member (Spouces of members would be honourable guests). Payment to be made to any of the Managing Committee Member or at the counter in cash at DSoI on 10 Feb 08.
(f) Confirmation          : Please confirm your attendance with the spouce or otherwise, on E-mail or on telephone to anyone of the Executive Committee Members by 26 January 2008, positively. This is very important to plan the lunch and proper accounting.
(g) Programme of the Events :
     (i)   1100 – 1115 AM:         Reception and Members’ interaction

     (ii) 1115 – 1215 PM:          Presentation and video-film on ‘Global Warming and Environmental Issues’ by Shri H S Kaprwan, Uttarayani’s veteran member and member of UN Committee on ‘Global Warming’.

    (iii) 1215 – 1230 PM:           Briefing & Film by Dr B S Bhandari on visit to Shri Kailash  Mansarovar.

 (iv) 1230-0100 PM:              Brain Storming Session on ‘Future Activity Road Map’ for   Uttarayani and related issues, as per suggestions received from members.

 (iv) 0100 Pm onwards:       Lunch

Members are earnestly requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting and join for the cocktails and sumptuous lunch. It is definitely going to be a memorable interaction and purposeful event. The great occassion would also trigger our minds on possible contributions, at individual and group levels, for the growth of Uttarakhand and its natives, in the true Uttarayani spirit of, “Earn, Learn and Return”.

It is heartening that MOST OF UTTARAYNI Members have consented to be present. Please CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE TO ANY OF MANAGING COMMITTEE MEMBERS ON    E-MAIL/TELEPHONE. THIS IS IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL.
